Posted on Nov 23, 2008 02:51:29 AM

So, what exactly do you do when your Xbox 360 rolls over and dies on you? What do you do when the shock’s worn off and staring you in the face is your Xbox 360 and its 3 red lights of death?

The answer? Don’t panic.
Until now, the Xbox 360’s 3 red lights have been a signal that your console is dead and your gaming days are over. That was because all the methods known to fix the general hardware failure that the 3 red lights on your Xbox 360 signify were ineffective.

You don’t want to send your console back… Continue reading

How Do I Fix My Xbox 360 3 Red Lights?

Posted on Nov 3, 2008 08:15:52 PM

The Xbox 360 3 red lights are a serious problem that over 500,000 people are dealing with. The worst thing about Xbox 360 3 red lights is that the problem won’t go away (i.e. your system will keep getting the red ring of death until you fix it).

Before you do anything to fix Xbox 360 3 red lights, DON’T DO THIS.

Do not try to fix your Xbox 360 3 red lights by wrapping your system in a towel or heating it with a hair dryer. Both of these “Xbox 360 repairs” are said to fix the red ring of death but
this is not really true.

While it is possible to temporarily get your system working again using these methods, the fix will not be permanent and the problem will get worse… Continue reading

Xbox 360 Three Red Lights

Posted on Nov 3, 2008 09:49:33 AM

I have a friend who runs a video game website. Not too long ago he asked me to put together some information on the Xbox 360 three red lights: what they mean, why they appear, how to get rid of them etc. He wanted to put up a feature on his website based on my findings.

So I began some basic research on the subject. It didn’t take me long to make a discovery that may have made my friend’s whole concept of an information package irrelevant.

First off, I should point out that there’s no… Continue reading

Xbox 360 Repair

I came across something the other night called The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition, and I thought I’d see if anyone else had come across it. If you’re currently looking for an Xbox 360 repair then I’m sure you’ll be interested.

It’s a sore subject for me…
A couple of months back I fired up my Xbox 360 and saw those dreaded red lights of death. Over the next couples of days the console switched between working and not working, until eventually it stopped working altogether. So I started looking around for an… Continue reading

Xbox 360 3 Red Lights

If you own an Xbox 360, or know someone who does, you’ve probably heard of the notorious 3 red lights of death. This is when 3 of the 4 normally green lights turn red when you power up the console. The Xbox 360’s 3 red lights signify that a general hardware failure has occurred, and that the machine is completely inoperable.

I feel like somewhat of an expert on this subject now, following my own run-in with the 3 red lights on my own Xbox 360 a few weeks ago. And when you consider that… Continue reading

Fix Xbox 360

Posted on Nov 3, 2008 09:31:22 AM

I’ve been looking around online the last few days, trying to find a way to fix my Xbox 360. I’ve had my console since launch day a couple of years ago, and it’s always worked fine. Then a last week, without warning, it just died on me. I know plenty of other people who’ve had it happen to them, so it wasn’t a complete surprise. But that doesn’t make it any easier to accept.

Obviously my warranty’s expired, so it was no good going to Microsoft to fix my Xbox 360. I found out they’d… Continue reading
