I think XBox360 Rock Band Stage Kit is GOING to be a great kit. It’s just not there yet.
I plugged everything in, poured the fog juice and everything works, except the fogger. The front lights do not even light up displaying that the machine is on and ready, however, it does get warm and the strobe works fine. My gripe lies with the customer service over at PDP. I don’t know who’s running the show over there but it has taken me quite awhile to even get a response and finally was told “a new kit was sent this week.” That was almost 3 weeks ago and I then received some sort of strange cable in the mail. It has nothing to do with the kit at all. I’ve submitted yet another ticket and placed a call to PDP and haven’t heard anything as of yet.
I can still use the kit with the LEDs and the strobe and I can tell it’s going to be fantastic. The synching is done very well and adds so much to the game. The only drawbacks are that the cord from the fogger to the LEDs is much too short (I wanted to place the strobe much further from the LEDs) and if you have a large plasma TV, the LEDs are just not bright enough although I’m hoping the lights in the fog help.
Overall, I think XBox360 Rock Band Stage Kit is GOING to be a fantastic addition that adds so much to the Rock Band experience. Just hope you receive a working kit!

Full LED light and strobe show with a fog machine, all of it synchronized to the game. It works really well and gives the whole gameplay a much more full experience. With the nearly $100 price tag, it certainly isn’t for everyone. In particular, it’s not for people that would have a problem with their friends mocking them for having a synchronized light and smoke kit for a video game with plastic instruments.
The unit itself is pretty well built and professionally done. It works seemlessly with Rock Band and setup is pretty much as simple as pouring in the fog juice, plugging it into your 360 and loading the game. The only downside to using it is that if you have a singer, they have to use the light show’s base unit as a control pad.
